Our
family felt there was something missing in our lives. There was a void that
needed to be filled. Although we were very busy with our two boys, ages 9 and
6, a dog seemed to be in order and, hence, our desperate search for the perfect
family pet commenced. During our rigorous investigation we stumbled across a
breed called the Chinook. This rare breed seemed faultless in our eyes and we
wanted to meet some. As luck had it, there was a Chinook breeder not far from
our home. Our family visited Rivertrail Chinooks and it only took a moment to
be positively enchanted with these dogs. We knew then that we needed to own
a Chinook!
Cooper was born on July 25, 2001 and he became ours on September 28th. Aside from the birth of our children, the night we got Cooper was one of the most memorable times in our lives. We brought Cooper home and he adjusted famously and we, as a family, fell for him hard! Cooper is now 9 months old and we cannot imagine our lives without him. He is sweet, loving and loyal. He is stubborn, lazy and mischievous. He is sometimes timid yet, at times, can become very excitable. He is a couch potato but always ready for a walk in the neighborhood or a ride in the car. He is Cooper...our Chinook and our family is now complete.
