Dog's Name: CH 'PR' Ditch Creek Suki
Born: June 10, 1994

Suki was our first Chinook. She came to us at age 4 because her original owner died and her living situation had become intolerable. She has been a devoted and constant companion. She follows me everywhere and lies at my feet. She will do almost anything not to be left behind when I go somewhere. When I return, she is always waiting patiently by the door. If it weren't for the indentations in the couch, I'd think she had been there the whole time I was gone.

Dog's Name: GR 'PR' Hurricane Wilhemina, CGC (Mina)
Born: May 18, 1999

We call Mina the perfect dog. She is friendly, beautiful and very smart. She loves sledding and is the lead on our so-called team. She loves agility and doing anything with Madeleine. Mina also feels it is her duty to keep Madeleine humble. My personal favorite was in a Show 'n Go when Mina went and sat with the judge during the off-lead heeling, leaving Madeleine to walk around the ring alone.

Dog's Name: CH 'PR' Frontier Indian Summer, CGC
Born: April 30, 2001

Indy is a lovable pest. She finds it hard not to express her extreme affection for people and dogs. She excels at obedience in her own slow and cautious manner. Her favorite excercise remains the long down. She loves to carry toys around the house vocalizing loudly, lest anyone miss out on how happy she is.

Dog's Name: CH 'PR' Rivertrail Raven, CGC
Born: July 25, 2001

Raven is the baby of the family and everyone treats her that way. At two, she can still be found hanging with her mom, Suki. Raven loves television, especially scary movies. If she hears suspenseful music she comes running to watch.

Rivertrail Chinooks

Together they make up the Rivertrail pack, named for Suki's original owner who loved the river that they lived next to. They can often be found sleeping in a big pile. To have dogs that love outdoor activities, but are content to lay around inside is the perfect situation. We feel very lucky.
