Temperament & Work Ability: Natale, the Italian word for Christmas, is certainly a gift to our family. His temperament is that of a true gentleman. We have two young children, a home constantly filled with their friends, and a Bichon Frise who all often impose their misguided love on Natale. He is always good-natured, affectionate, and amiable, and never overpowering with his size and strength. Natale's fine temperament and obedience skills allowed him to easily pass his CGC at 9 months of age. There is no doubt that Natale has a strong work ethic. In his winter's in harness, he has proven himself a great representative of his breed as a single skijoring dog and as a part-time member of a three-dog rec sled team. In fact, he seems to excel the higher he runs in the Colorado mountains. However, once back home, if the situation calls for it, he can easily be a loving couch potato. Natale is in excellent health, and has a handsome, strong, and intelligent appearance.
